Which years of MDCAT past papers are available on Premeth?

Premeth hosts MDCAT past papers from 2008 through 2025 — 18 years in total. Papers from 2008–2019 are from the UHS era; 2020–2025 are PMDC-conducted national MDCATs. All are free, no signup.

Who conducted the MDCAT before PMDC took over?

From 2008–2019 the MDCAT was conducted by UHS Lahore for Punjab, with separate provincial bodies (ETEA in KPK, DUHS in Sindh) running their own tests. PMDC standardised the national MDCAT from 2020 onwards (Source: PMC Act, 2020).

Has the MDCAT paper format changed over the years?

Yes. UHS-era MDCATs (2008–2019) used a 1100-mark format with 220 MCQs. PMDC-era MDCATs (2020–2024) shifted to 200 MCQs over 210 minutes; 2025 trimmed this to 180 MCQs over 180 minutes with no negative marking.
